We regard our young people as today’s church and enjoy their participation in our services. There are a number of opportunities for them to take part, as well as exciting and creative activities during the week.
We seek to nurture relationships with our children and teenagers as we see the ‘modern family’ become something quite different from the traditional family unit, and as we recognise the massive challenges we face in the 21st century. The Children’s Church has formalised its teaching time, using Scripture Union training material. Young people are also involved regularly in leading worship or the services and in serving in the worship team.
Our Children’s Church ministry runs on Sunday mornings during school terms. Children are welcomed into the Church service at the start of each service and then leave with their leaders for their learning time after the first twenty minutes.
