We become members of Christ’s Church through redemption (being saved, rescued, redeemed), repentance (coming into a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ) and regeneration (being born again, born from above, born of the Spirit). These are some of the images the Bible uses to talk about the miracle of new life in Christ.
